Creatures & Characters
The old tales say you can’t trust what walks the woods by moonlight—or what offers you a smile at the crossroads. In Alwion, that’s more than superstition—it’s survival advice.
The world of Alwion is filled with strange and unforgettable beings, from sorrowful spirits bound by broken promises to things that go bump in the night or powerful fey who dwell deep in the wilds. Some are allies. Some are enemies. Most are somewhere in between.
The characters and creatures are drawn from actual British, Scottish, and Welsh folklore, reimagined through a 5E-compatible lens. Others are inspired by half-remembered dreams and cautionary rhymes.
